How do you download the audio files: Simply plug the USB cable into your pc while it is connected to the phone. A folder will appear containing all the audio files in .mp3 format. It's that EASY!
How do you recharge the battery: When the usb cable is plugged into the phone and to a power source it will automatically recharge the battery. Side note: When the battery is fully drained please make sure to leave the battery in the phone while using the usb cable to power the phone during an event.
How do you record the greeting: Simply hold down the center button located on the front of the phone. When you hear a beep, keep holding the button and leave the greeting. Let the button go when you are done recording.
Can I insert a custom greeting without using the button: Yes, you can also have the client send you the greeting in advance and have it uploaded to the phone before the event. Make sure to name the new custom greeting file "greeting.mp3" or it will not work. Important: the file type must be mp3.
How long will the battery last: Although not 100% tested, the battery could last up to a week on a single charge. The phone uses very little power to create the recordings.
Do I have to use the battery?: Yes, the battery must stay plug into the phone at ALL times. If you choose to use the usb power cable provided the battery must stay plugged into the phone.
Do I Have to pull out the SD Card to extract the audio files?: No, the files can be extracted by simply plugging the usb cable into a mac or pc. There is no need to take your phone apart.
Can I use the marketing videos you sent us on social media?: Yes, the marketing videos are for you. They are created to help you grow your local footprint and get more orders. Let us know if you'd like more content and send us any ideas you'd like for us to create.
How many recordings fit in the 8gb sd card? A typical event consumes about 60MB of data (50 recordings) which is less than 10% of the memory of an 8GB SD card That leaves you with 7.4 GB of extra space. You will not consume the entire storage capacity in 1 event.
Should I remove the recordings before each event? Yes, it is very important to remove the past event recordings before starting another event.
How do you send the files to a client? We currently send the files via a google drive folder. Make sure that when you send the link to the client you right click the folder, click manage, and make the file viewable by "everyone with the link"
Will you have an app for clients to download and listen to their recordings? Yes, our app is expected to be released this summer 2023. The app will have much more than just an audiofile gallery for sharing. It will be the BEST app in the industry.
